Elementary School Teacher Who Keeps Learning Interesting

Hello there! I have been teaching 5 years. Prior to my teaching career I worked as a social worker and probation officer. In regard to my teaching background. I am a certified elementary school teacher in the State of Michigan for all subjects grades K-6 in addition to being certified in Middle School Science. I have also taught 6th grade math and tutored all 7th grade subjects.

As an educator I focus on building relationships with my students. I have done this in both in-person and virtual environments. My tutoring experience has also been both online and in-person. I like to keep learning interesting with real-life examples and knowledge that can be applied. While I can teach any subject within the realm of my certifications and experience, I tend to most enjoy teaching and tutoring math. My daughters are advanced in their school math careers and I frequently find myself enjoying this math time with them at home!
