Hello! My name is Paige, and I am a resource teacher in the Mid-Michigan area. I graduated in 2022, from Michigan State University with my undergraduate in Elementary and Special education (LD). I am also currently studying to gain my certification in emotionally and cognitively impaired education as well as my master's in educational leadership.
I have taught in a public school resource room setting for the past 3 years, as well as a short period in which I oversaw a cognitively impaired classroom with non-verbal students. Throughout my career, I have completed many trainings in regard to specialized instruction, most notably, I have completed the Orton-Gillingham training and I utilize the resources and instruction practices throughout the school year. In addition to reading curriculum, I am also well-versed in math and early algebra curriculum, I focus on hands-on learning with an emphasis on understanding through application.
It is my mission to assist the students that I work with to understand material and make them successful in their learning endeavors.
