I am currently enrolled as a sophomore at Grand Valley State University's Honors College - I am planning to major in International Relations, and minor in East Asian Studies. In high school, I was a member of the National Honor's Society, Key Club International, as well as International Outreach, and as a result have learned how to lead others, work with different personalities, and work with others to achieve a common goal. In both high school and college, I have enjoyed and demonstrated proficiency in my honors and Advanced Placement English courses, as well as Advanced Placement U.S. History and Social Studies courses.
I have four younger siblings, and have helped them with their homework many times over the years. I've also spent the last four summers volunteering at Camp S.O.A.R., a camp for autistic children, in which I helped encourage them to improve their reading, math, and social skills. Through high school I was often asked by my teachers to help other students that were struggling. I try to find ways to introduce old material in a new and simplified format, or find other ways to make material relatable and easier to understand. I enjoy helping others excel, and hope to help you achieve your goals.
