My name is Halley S. I graduated from Michigan Technological University with my Bachelors in Mechanical Engineering in May 2015. I am currently working towards my MBA through Northwood University and will be graduating this summer. I currently work as a Foundry Engineer where I utilize physics, math, and solid modeling skills everyday. Previously, I worked for a top tier supplier of the automotive industry in the Metro Detroit Area.

During my undergraduate studies at MTU, I worked as a Teachers assistant for Freshmen and Sophomore students for Engineering Principles 1101 and 1102. I held office hours to help students that were struggling in class subjects as well as wanted help studying. I proctored exams and held classes when the teacher was absent as well. I enjoy helping students learn and find a passion for engineering, mathematics, and physics.

I would love the opportunity to help with all kinds of engineering, math, and physics related subjects and students of all levels. My schedule is very flexible and I can respond very quickly to questions. Since I was a TA I have lots of practice problems, exams, and lesson plans for students needing help in these areas. Please feel free to reach out and start conversation on how we can schedule some lessons.

Knowledgeable and great communication skills

She helped my daughter with her AP physics tests. After just one session my daughter was able to solve problems that she was struggling with in class. It was so easy to follow Halley explanations. She is knowledgeable, patient and very, very pleasant. I highly recommend her.
