I have recently graduated from Grand Valley State University with a bachelor of science in mathematics. While studying at GVSU, I worked as a tutor at our university math center. I love coming up with new ways of explaining concepts to help students understand better. For me, this is a fun and creative challenge. Educators can not always present content in a way that makes sense to everyone the first time, and I enjoy finding different ways to fill in the gaps.
My ultimate goal is to become a professor of mathematics. I will begin pursuing a master's degree in the Fall of 2019. Right now, helping students with different levels of mathematics as a tutor is the best way I can work towards that goal.
