I am currently completing a Bachelor's degree in Elementary Education at Western Governors University, which includes coursework in instructional planning, assessment, monitoring student learning, early literacy development, and differentiated instruction. My program emphasizes evidence-based teaching practices, alignment with standards, and mastery of core elementary content areas, preparing me to tutor students in reading, writing, and foundational math. My teaching experience includes both structured academic settings and informal instructional support. Through coursework and field-based experiences, I have worked with elementary-aged students (ages 5–11) in classroom and small-group settings, supporting literacy instruction, guided reading, and skill reinforcement.
