I studied Arabic for 9 semesters, six at the University of Michigan. I also lived in Jordan for 10 weeks, was a Critical Language Scholar and a two-time FLAS Fellow for the Arabic language. It's a beautiful language, I have plenty of book and program recommendations to help you with your language learning!
I have been giving public presentations over 20 years - since I was eight years old. I've spoken to audiences ranging from 10 - 200 individuals, discussing contentious topics that range from social media to religion to politics and more. I can help students understand the different techniques that are required for a variety of occasions, whether they be lectures, sermons, group presentations, or discussion seminars.
Studied Political Science for four years at the University of Michigan and International Relations at the Fletcher School at Tufts University. I was a teaching assistant for three semesters in Tuft's Political Science department and lectured about comparative government structures. I've also worked in the government and non-profit sectors.
