I can't wait to prove to you that Chemistry and math are understandable and even fun!! I am currently a full time teacher with over 20 years of experience. I teach Chemistry, AP Chemistry, and Environmental Science. I hold a Bachelor's Degree in Chemistry with a minor in Earth Science from Michigan State University. I also have a graduate degree (Ed.S., Educational Specialist) specializing in science curriculum.

I would love the opportunity to help you understand math and science better. I enjoy both subjects and inventing new ways of teaching students how each subject relates to their everyday lives. I believe that learning is a hands on experience (especially in the case of science). You need to understand up front, that I will not just show you how to solve problems, you will have to think about why the procedure makes sense. You will be asked to connect ideas and understand concepts in depth. Beyond just solving problems, I will make it my goal for you to obtain deep knowledge making the next step in your education easy!
