Math and Science Tutor

Hello, my name’s Andrea, and after eight years working as an engineer, I'm taking my love of math and science and pairing it up with my love of teaching to help other budding engineers - or those who just want to pass algebra - understand and succeed in STEM subjects.

My preferred method of teaching/tutoring is to first explain the concept, then work through an example problem, followed by helping the student complete a problem, and end with the student successfully completing a problem unassisted. Of course, sometimes it takes more examples for a concept to fully make sense, and I’m happy to help all along the way.
