I am a graduate of Western Michigan University with a dual major in Sociology and Criminal Justice. I have been working with youth in child care settings and classroom settings for over 5 years. I have a passion for helping youth excel mentally, emotionally and academically. I take pride in building relationships with all of my students and their families to ensure levels of comfort for all persons. I currently work in a elementary school, and I see firsthand that students can and will excel academically when they have someone pushing them outside of the classroom, to help keep them focused.
I currently work with elementary school students in the classroom, the notes and lessons are beneficial to students and parents outside of the classroom.
I personally enjoy learning and teaching handwriting to students because it is not a focus in the classroom.
It took me a while to realize that learning is fun. I try to help students come to that realization a lot faster than it took me. Learning can take you so many places and I hope to show you just how far you can go!
