I've always known that I wanted to be a teacher so I applied to a teaching program at Eastern Michigan. After I graduated and became a certified teacher, I substitute taught in several schools in Macomb County before I was approached by a recruiter to ESL in South Korea, which was right around the time I was offered a position to work for a charter school. I chose to leave to teach in a public school in Daegu, South Korea. Then I moved to Kuwait where I taught at a private school. And I just kept traveling and sightseeing and then moved to other countries I wanted to immerse myself into and learn about.
I am an Eastern Michigan University Alumna. I graduated with a major in Language, Literature, and Writing and a minor in Communication, Theatre Arts for secondary education. I became a certified educator and have been teaching in public and private school around the globe for over 8 years. I've taught English language arts and ESL for students between the ages of 3-17 of all various skill levels.
I've worked with all kinds of students: ESL, students with learning disabilities, at-risk students, very wealthy to very poor. I believe all students have the right and the will to learn whatever they want or need. I am patient and will teach you according to how you learn and we'll have fun.
