Honors and Remedial High School and Middle School MATH TUTOR

I am a former certified high school and middle school math teacher with 35 years experience teaching a wide range of secondary math levels. I earned a Bachelor of Arts degree in mathematics and my Masters degree in Education Leadership. I taught for eleven years in top rated Michigan school districts before my three children were born. After I left the schools 24 years ago to stay home with my children, I have stayed very busy doing exclusive private tutoring over these past years. I kept my teaching certificate current until just recently when I decided that I prefer tutoring to large classroom instruction.

I understand math does not come easy to all students and given my expertise as a math major teaching various levels, I have a strong ability to simplify complex concepts. I have a high success rate helping students of all levels from remedial to honors. My own three children graduated top of their class from our local high school with my math support, and are now attending or graduated from top universities.

Because I have taught all levels through Pre-Calculus for many years, I am efficiently able to use the time well and assess what is most important for long term improvement in math. I have many happy former and current students who have improved their grades in record time, sometimes after just one or two sessions. It follows that I have many happy parents as well who have communicated their effusive gratitude and praises.

Because I have taught both remedial and honors levels, I am confident that I can make a big difference and bring clarity to my clients math understanding.
