I have taught at the high school level and the college level early in my career. I have also tutored usually family and friends as needs arose. There is a high level of satisfaction when a young person gets a concept on a topic they thought they never would or could understand. Too many good young people never reach their potential because they could not take that next, or final step in mastering a subject.
