My name is Kayleah (MS in Biostatistics, BA in Statistics with Mathematics minor). During my undergrad, I worked as a tutor in the math & stats center as well as 1:1 tutoring through the Grand Valley Student Services Department. I also have my Masters in Biostatistics during which, I continued to tutor students of all levels. I am a CRLA certified tutor. I have experience privately tutoring AP Statistics, college level statistics, as well as graduate and doctoral level statistics. I am proficient in R and SPSS and am SAS certified! I also have experience tutoring elementary students, students with learning disabilities, and high school level students in mathematics, reading, writing, and spelling.
Something unique which sets me apart from others: I attended six years of Montessori education. This has equipped me with multiple teaching approaches for the student who may benefit from alternative instruction styles.

In most cases, tutors gain approval in a subject by passing a proficiency exam. For some subject areas, like music and art, tutors submit written requests to demonstrate their proficiency to potential students. If a tutor is interested but not yet approved in a subject, the subject will appear in non-bold font. Tutors need to be approved in a subject prior to beginning lessons.
I have an MS in Biostatistics, a BA in statistics with a mathematics minor, and have years of experience tutoring mathematics and statistics. Algebra 1 is one of my most common subjects. I've worked with elementary, middle school, high school, and collegiate level students in a wide range of mathematics subjects, including algebra 1.
I have my BA in Statistics and my MS in Biostatistics. I worked as a math and statistics tutor (for all levels) for three years for Grand Valley State University. While in graduate school, my Graduate Assistantship was to tutor, specifically, graduate level students in biostatistics. I also tutored master's and doctoral levels privately.
With my BA in Statistics and MS in Biostatistics, I have spent five years using SAS at Grand Valley State University. There I used SAS daily: in class, doing homework, tutoring statistics students, and working as a statistical consultant. In addition to this, I have a SAS certification (Base 9) and use SAS daily as a Clinical Biostatistician.
I am a graduate student at Grand Valley State University. While completing my undergraduate degree- I was given the unfamiliar opportunity to work with a second grade male student. Initially, I was nervous- as until that point I had never worked with elementary students. It amazed me how quickly I found a passion in helping children learn. After just two weeks (six sessions) I witnessed Ryan's crowning achievement when he hung his first 100% spelling quiz on the fridge. Over a year later, I still work with Ryan and have never found anything more rewarding!
I have a BA in statistics, an MS in Biostatistics, 4+ years tutoring every level of stats, and have tutored stats for MSU masters student over the last summer.
