I earned my Bachelor of Science in Health Sciences with a minor in Spanish from DePaul University in March 2025. While at DePaul, I served as a one-on-one tutor in math and science for students from underserved communities, focusing on elementary and middle school learners. I created individualized lesson plans and adapted explanations to each student’s unique needs and learning pace. Earlier, throughout middle and high school, I volunteered consistently with special education programs, supporting students with learning differences in both academic and social settings. These early experiences shaped my patient, flexible, and compassionate tutoring approach.
Currently, I work as an Associate Sales Representative, where I collaborate with surgeons and medical teams to support orthopedic procedures and explain complex surgical technologies. This role has further strengthened my ability to communicate technical information clearly and adjust my approach for diverse audiences. Combined with prior roles in clinical and global health settings, these experiences have deepened my understanding of both science and the importance of individualized instruction.
My passion lies in helping younger students build confidence in STEM—particularly those who may feel discouraged or left behind. I believe that a strong foundation in math and science, built through trust and encouragement, can empower students for life. I’m especially skilled in working with students who need extra support or a different approach to learning, and I’m committed to creating an inclusive, engaging tutoring experience for every child I work with.
