Hello! My name is Evan E., and I am a University Educator with 10+ years of teaching experience. I earned my B.A. from the University of North Carolina Asheville in 2011, where I studied Philosophy, Women's Studies, and Mathematics. I then went on to earn my M.A. in Philosophy at DePaul University in Chicago and began teaching in 2014. Finally, I earned my PhD in Philosophy at DePaul as well.
I have taught at five different Universities and Colleges here in the Midwest, including DePaul and Loyola University in Chicago, and Grand Valley State University in west Michigan, where I currently teach in the Interdisciplinary Studies department.
My background has always been in Philosophy and Environmental Studies, and a special focus in Food Studies. Additionally, I spent several years teaching in the Economics departments of DePaul and Loyola. In the last ten years, I have worked with countless students, not only in understanding ideas in philosophy, economics, social studies, and environmental studies, but also in honing writing, editing, and communication skills.
I look forward to working with you soon, and helping you achieve your learning goals!
