For 30 years I taught high school and AP chemistry at Jenison High School. I have a lot of experience teaching difficult chemistry topics such as stoichiometry, thermochemistry and equilibrium. In addition to teaching, I have been part of the AP chemistry reading since 2004. From 2017-2022 I was of the AP chemistry test development committee. In 2022 , I won the ACS James Bryant Conant Award for Excellence in High Chemistry Teaching.
