Leandro is amazing, he actually cares about his students and shows a genuine care for their success he worked with my schedule on a weekly basis which couldn’t have always been easy but it was greatly appreciated.. my class was an accelerated math class at the University of Redlands so over a 10 week period I needed help with Linear equations, graphs, functions, finance, programming, logic, probability, derivatives, differentiation and some calculus. Leandro was able to assist me with everything without missing a beat. When I came to him I had a D in the class, I’m horrible at math but he always made me feel comfortable like I could learn and improve and I did my final was March 2nd and not only did I get an A on the final but I brought my D in the class up to a B. I will be taking statistics this summer and I plan on using Leandro again. You can’t go wrong with his help.

Expectations Exceeded

Investing in Spanish tutoring for my 3 year old is the start to me giving him an exposure to the world. After reaching out to Leo and finally getting to meet him, I admit, I am very impressed. I observed them together. Leo followed the lead of my very active toddler. He incorporated Spanish with his play. I could tell my son’s mind was going. On a free occasions my son came up to me repeating what Leo taught him. I didn’t expect him to give in or pick up anything right away but he did. My son was delighted and I just prayed he didn’t tire Leo out because he was on the move the entire time. But Leo was very patient, encouraging and supportive. He understands how a toddler operates and teaches accordingly. I was so worried it wouldn’t work because my son loves to play at his age. I’m very pleased and look forward to working with Leo more. I also look forward to the day where my son is fluently speaking Spanish… I’m going to support them however I can. Thank you Leo for your patience and kindness and willingness to teach my son. You are appreciated.

Patience of a Saint

I highly recommend Leandro as a tutor for anyone needing help with statistics. I hired him in the middle of a graduate level statistics class that was not going well. He was able to meet with me with very short notice and then not only answered my questions, but took the time to help me understand the concepts. While statistics will never be a favorite subject for me, I know that without the help of this excellent tutor I would not have made it through the class.

I chose Leandro to tutor my son for high school math and SAT math after reading all the positive testimonials from other students he has worked with on Wyzant. My son gets easily distracted, but Leandro kept him on task and definitely helped him with new math concepts and ways to remember them. My son got a 100% and a 90% on two of his math tests following study sessions with Leandro. We highly recommend him and you really do get what you pay for.

Very effective tutor

When I first engaged Leo, my daughter had a D in Geometry and was in danger of failing the course. Six weeks later and at the end of the school year, my daughter was able to raise her grade to a B. This is a testament to Leo's effectiveness as a teacher and mentor. What my daughter needed was somebody to explain the concepts to her in terms she can understand and relate to. And Leo was very effective in doing that. Next school year, my daughter and I agreed that we will have a session with Leo at least once a week starting at the beginning of the school year for Algebra II so she doesn't fall behind like what happened to her this year. I would highly recommend Leo to anybody because his approach is very effective especially to students who are really not very fond of math.
