Welcome! I'm Dr. Damita, and I'm passionate about helping students discover their potential and achieve their educational goals. With more than 25 years of tutoring experience, I have worked with elementary, middle school, high school, college, and adult learners from diverse backgrounds. My mission is to help every student build confidence, master new skills, and develop a lifelong love of learning. I believe education has the power to transform lives, open doors, and create opportunities, and I am committed to helping every student reach their full potential.

My experience extends beyond the classroom. I have worked in the corrections field, supporting individuals on probation through education, goal setting, and personal development. I also have extensive experience working with students with disabilities and creating individualized learning strategies that meet each student's unique needs. Supporting neurodiverse learners is especially meaningful to me as a person and a parent with a child with autism. This personal and professional experience has strengthened my patience, empathy, flexibility, and ability to connect with students from all walks of life. I have earned multiple degrees and professional certifications, including credentials as a Certified Tutor and a Career Development Facilitator, and my doctoral degree reflects my lifelong commitment to education and continuous learning.

I combine traditional teaching methods with creative strategies, technology, and real-world applications to make learning engaging and effective.
