I take pride in having excellent class management skills and truly believe this is one of the most important prerequisites for creating a good learning environment.
I also have a high level mastery in my content area of Math and I work very hard to teach it in a way that’s applicable to each student’s need and not one size fits all approach.
I try to incorporate manipulatives as well as real world examples in my teaching practice
I would also like to add that I was in charge of training grades 3-5 students for Math Bee.
I like to be in constant touch with my parents because teamwork makes students successful.
Lastly, I would like to add that I’ve taken continuous professional development classes to keep myself abreast with the latest in the teaching world.
I believe in tough love. Students should ALWAYS feel loved and yet, at the same should feel that need to do better and excel in education! I have the ability to make every child realize their potential!
