I am currently a grad student at Spring Arbor University -Flint. I am currently in my internship and will be finishing my Master's in Counseling April 2018.

I currently have a 3.67 GPA. I received my undergraduate in Family Life Education in 2013, also from Spring Arbor. I love working with children, they are a joy to be around! I have a combined 10 years of experience working with elementary aged children. in my prior experiences I was able to multitask with tutoring several students on various subjects in the same setting. I must say that the students I have worked with in the past were mostly K-2, but did work with 3-6 for a short period of time, and I am open to tutoring them.

In my last position with children it was my responsibility to help student with their homework, as well as classwork that they could not complete. I had several students who were not good with math and I was able to help them understand it better, and they would come to me at later dates informing me of their improvements. I was able to learn new techniques from their daytime teachers, so in a way me and the students helped each other.

Just as I had students that were not good with math, I had just as many students who were not good with English. I took my time with these students and helped them become stronger in reading and writing, as well as implementing a stronger vocabulary.
