I am fiction writer and essayist from Detroit, MI. I received my MFA in Fiction at Colorado State University in 2020, where I taught creative writing, literature, and composition for undergraduates. While I was there, I was also an associate editor at the Colorado Review.

Thanks for considering me as your tutor. Here's a little about me:

I am fiction writer and essayist from Detroit, MI. I received my MFA in Fiction at Colorado State University in 2020, where I taught creative writing, literature, and composition for undergraduates. While I was there, I was also an associate editor at the Colorado Review.

I attended Skidmore’s Summer Writers Institute in the summer of 2019 as a scholarship winner, participated in University of Iowa’s International Writers Program in 2012 and received her Bachelor of Arts in Near Eastern Studies from Princeton University in 2008.

​So what does all that mean for you? In short: I love teaching others how to write. Whether you need to work on a college admissions essay, you have an assignment that doesn't quite *flow* the way you'd like, or you want to help bringing your story to life, I am here for you.

As a writer, I have flexible work hours. I am willing to do home visits, meet in a public location, or online, whichever is more comfortable for you.
