I am an experienced Bioinformatics Specialist. I hold a PhD and MS in Genetics and Genome Sciences. These degree programs have helped me develop a thorough understanding of Genomics, Biostatistics, Genetics, R programming, Epidemiology and Public health. Over the last 7 years, I have received extensive training and experience in analyzing large genomic datasets. This includes analysis of phenotypes and genotypes from thousands of samples to identify biological targets, analyzing differentially expressed genes from bulk RNA-seq data, imputation of missing genotypes in samples, identification of conserved genomic regions in the genome, simulation of genotypes and phenotypes to test various scenarios of genomic prediction.

I am also a prolific science writer with more than 70 citations and 6 peer reviewed journal articles. I am also a fluent speaker and presenter, having presented in 5 world leading conferences in the field of Genetics and Genomics. These experiences have helped me develop skills related to effective writing, communication, proof reading and nurtured my analytical skills.
