K–12 & AP Tutor: Bio, Spanish, Writing & More

I am an undergraduate student majoring in Human Biology with a minor in Spanish, and I have a strong academic background that allows me to tutor a wide range of subjects. I have taken 11 AP exams, earning 4s and 5s, which has given me experience with advanced material and the skills to help students succeed in challenging courses. I am comfortable tutoring students of all ages, from elementary and middle school to high school, across subjects including reading, writing, math, science, Spanish, English, and Anatomy.

I have hands-on tutoring experience with a variety of students. I worked at a Kumon tutoring center, where I helped elementary and middle school students develop foundational skills in reading, writing, and math while encouraging good study habits. I also tutored through my high school’s tutoring community, providing one-on-one support to peers in subjects such as Spanish, science, writing, and Anatomy. Additionally, having been tutored myself, I understand what it feels like to learn with guidance, and I know how important it is to feel supported rather than embarrassed. I strive to create a positive, encouraging environment where students feel comfortable asking questions and making mistakes.

My tutoring style is patient, structured, and supportive. I focus on helping students understand concepts deeply rather than just memorizing information. Whether working with younger students on foundational skills or high school students on advanced coursework and AP preparation, I aim to make learning approachable, understandable, and most of all enjoyable!
