I am very patient. If my student does not grasp a concept, I will implement another approach. Real world applications always make the lessons interesting.
I believe in a lot of contextualization as most of us are very visual creatures. I encourage my students to be like actors and play a part which in turn will help rid them of their inhibitions. I also believe that gently introducing grammatical concepts is necessary for good conversational skills.
My minor in college was Spanish. I have lived in Mexico twice. I am thrilled with Spanish grammar and I want you to be also. ¡Vamonos! The great thing with Spanish unlike English is that it is a phonetic language...we write it as we hear it and vice versa.
As an American speaker of Spanish, I know firsthand which road blocks other English speakers encounter on their journey toward language acquisition.
I am a personable and patient tutor who will find a way to knock down any walls that might otherwise hinder your learning. If you have any question, please feel free to contact me.
