He excels at bringing the best out of every student - determining what needs to be learned to maximize score growth potential. Steven is comfortable working with students across the score spectrum and has helped multiple students achieve perfect scores, as well as brought many students in the average range up to the mid-to-high range. As a former paraprofessional for students with autism, Steven is confident working with all students, including those with learning difficulties. He ensures each student is held accountable for the completion of the material, he communicates often with parents, and he is described as relatable, supportive, funny, and intelligent by his students.

Steven holds an MFA degree in English and Writing from Goddard College. He graduated with a 4.0 and was Student Body President. Steven also holds a BA degree in Communication from Eastern Michigan University, where he presided over three dormitories and served on the President's Executive Board.

Recently, Steven taught theatre and English for a local high school. Nowadays, in his spare time, Steven's an award-winning playwright and published author. His plays have been performed in multiple states and have been featured in several festivals. Steven finds it thrilling to see his plays come to life--just as his students are often thrilled to see their scores increase.

I worked my way up to lead intern, supervising and leading a team of 20 undergraduate students. My team hosted 6 career fairs annually, in addition to all of our workshops.
