Music has been my passion since I was seven years old, and I have dedicated my life to mastering and sharing it with others. I studied at both The Juilliard School and Berklee College of Music and have performed around the world as a professional saxophonist. My career has included appearances at Carnegie Hall, performances at the White House, and touring internationally with Grammy-winning artist Jon Batiste and Stay Human. These experiences have given me a deep understanding not only of music, but also of what it takes to grow, practice effectively, and perform with confidence.
For many years I have worked with students of all ages and experience levels, from complete beginners to advanced musicians preparing for auditions, performances, and professional opportunities. I teach saxophone, improvisation, jazz, ear training, music theory, technique, tone production, and practice strategies. Every lesson is personalized to the individual student. My goal is to make learning enjoyable while providing clear, practical steps that help students make steady progress and build confidence.
I believe great teaching combines encouragement with structure. Whether a student wants to learn their favorite songs, improve their tone and technique, prepare for school ensembles, or develop advanced improvisation skills, I focus on helping them achieve their goals while developing a lifelong love of music. My lessons are supportive, engaging, and designed to help each student become the best musician they can be.
