Hi!
My name is Ariel, and I'm an engineering student at U-M.
I enjoy tutoring students of all ages and helping them as they try to improve their skills and prepare for their college entrance exams (I got a perfect 36 on the ACT and a 1530 on the SAT).
I graduated from University of Detroit Jesuit High School, where I learned to live by their motto "Men for Others," volunteering at schools in my neighborhood and helping students with English, Math and Science.

I am also a native Spanish speaker, since I grew up and studied in Santiago, Chile until 6th grade.
As a tutor, I always try to first identify what concepts students are confident in and build new knowledge from there. I understand people learn in many different ways, so I try to help them identify the best study methods, techniques and tips for each student. Since practice is key, I try to prepare quizzes and problems that can help them recall information as quickly and accurately as possible when they need it.
I look forward to working with you or your child!
