Hi there!

I'm Jada, a sophomore in the Wayne Med-Direct program at WSU. My mission is to help kids, teens, and adults alike reach for the stars and unlock their potential! With over four years of formal tutoring experience, I've honed in on reading and writing, language skills, and general science. It all started when I was younger, helping my siblings, cousins, and friends with school assignments. Teaching turned out to be something I really enjoyed, and my passion continues to grow.

When it comes to teaching, my approach is all about careful planning, patience, and creating a relaxed learning space. I want students to feel comfortable enough to ask anything - no question is a stupid question! Enjoyable learning is the best way to retain information, so I like to mix in fun activities that connect to what we're studying. Also, I completely understand how easy it is for minds to wander, so I've perfected my techniques to keep us engaged and our minds sharp. Plus, everyone's unique! I like tailoring my approach to suit each student's style.

Teaching English has been my passion for over two years, especially; in the past I spent a lot of time at Kumon volunteering to help young students with reading and grammar. I've also assisted my peers with various science courses at my college, including cell biology and general chemistry. So, no matter your age, I'm here to help.
