I have a strong academic and professional background in mathematics and engineering, along with years of informal tutoring experience. Throughout middle school and high school, I consistently enrolled in advanced mathematics courses and provided peer tutoring support to fellow students. My coursework included advanced Algebra, advanced Trigonometry, and AP Calculus BC, where I developed both technical proficiency and problem-solving skills.

I attended Michigan Technological University, where I earned two bachelor’s degrees: a Bachelor of Science in Mechanical Engineering and a Bachelor of Science in Materials Science and Engineering, graduating with a 3.75 GPA. During my undergraduate studies, I received the Mathematical Sciences Merit Award for exemplary performance in Calculus I and Calculus III.

While working full-time as an engineer over the past 10 years, I continued my education by earning a Master of Engineering from the University of Michigan, graduating with a 4.0 GPA. My academic and professional experiences have strengthened my mathematical foundation, particularly in Algebra, Calculus, and applied problem-solving.

My tutoring approach focuses on building conceptual understanding, problem-solving strategies, and student confidence.
