I have a PhD in Computational Mathematics & Engineering (Michigan State University, 2024), and specialize in mathematics of machine learning & generative AI. I also have a Bachelor of Arts in Mathematics from Oakland University, with university and departmental honors. I am currently research faculty at Michigan State University.

During my time in university, I tutored both privately from grades 2 through the university level, and also for Oakland University's Tutoring Center. I tutored subjects such as arithmetic, statistics, algebra (middle school level), algebra I, algebra II, Trigonometry/pre-calculus, and calculus I-III, Discrete Mathematics/Mathematical Logic. Beyond individual tutoring, I also have experience with groups. I was a supplemental instructor at Oakland University. As an instructor, I held daily/weekly workshops in which I oversaw and helped an entire class (10-75+ students at a time) with problem sets, practice exams, quizzes, etc.

I am able to teach mathematical subjects very well, and help others understand complicated concepts more easily. This can be seen in a couple highlighted cases from my past experiences. I tutored a visually impaired student privately for the university for two semesters. He needed quite a bit of extra care and assistance. The result was that his grades improved by over 30%. I also tutored a student at the university of the autism spectrum, which required me to have a lot of patience, and adapt to the way he learned.
