Hello, I'm Tyler. I graduated from the University of Michigan - Ann Arbor with a Bachelor's of Science in Engineering in Computer Engineering. In my undergrad, I focused on Embedded Systems and Control Systems. During my undergrad degree I took a plethora of math courses (calculus 1 through 4), coding classes, and engineering classes focused in electrical, mechanical, and computer engineering. A common theme with these classes, especially at the University of Michigan, is that they are incredibly hard to tackle alone. I aim to help people with classes, from people who are struggling alone and are unsure of what to do, to people who just want to be able to have someone to help them further their knowledge.

I have worked as a tutor, teaching assistant, and instructor during my time at the University of Michigan. During the summers at the University of Michigan was the teaching assistant for incoming freshmen who had incoming Calculus 1 and 2 credits. The goal was to refresh on concepts from Pre-Calc, Calc 1, and Calc 2 and to prepare for U of M math. During the semester, I worked part time as a tutor focusing on classes in programming and electrical engineering. The summer of my graduation I worked as the Computer Science Instructor for incoming freshman to refresh and learn basic coding knowledge. In total, I have roughly 4 years of tutoring experience both online and in person.

I aim to help students reach their goals during my sessions, therefore I am open to any resources or suggestions students or parents can provide. Feel free to contact me with any questions, or to schedule a lesson.

Approved Subjects

AutoCAD

AutoCAD

Starting in sophomore year of college I had educational training on how to use AutoCAD to model parts and move from the modeling aspect to actually making the parts. Taking that experience, I have continued to improve skills utilizing 3D printers to create parts for various projects from printing a stabilized base for a laser tracking system to fun small projects like a 3D printed extendable sword.
C

C

I am an Entry level embedded systems and control systems engineer with a BSE in Computer Engineering from the University of Michigan. I have worked with C and embedded C in multiple projects ranging from a real time laser tracking system to a wirelessly controlled scoreboard system.
C++

C++

For part of my degree, I have taken both basic and advanced C++ courses, and used C++ in several projects ranging from automated cruise control to complicated maze solving algorithms. I have tutored C++ as my main subject during my time tutoring at the University of Michigan, and taught for a summer program for incoming University of Michigan Freshman. During this class, I created a curriculum and taught introductory C++ concepts.
Computer Engineering

Computer Engineering

My degree at the University of Michigan - Ann Arbor focused on computer engineering, specifically embedded systems and control systems. I have taken various classes relating to the degree and have done various projects from building a wireless scoreboard system to real time laser tracking. During my time tutoring at Umich, I tutored for introduction to electrical systems, differential equations, intro/advanced embedded system design, and control system design courses.
Logic

Logic

Central to a lot of low level computer engineering embedded system code is logic, specifically logic design of circuits. After official education as a sophomore in college at the University of Michigan, I have used logic design to create projects in low level coding languages like Verilog. I have also tutored Computer Engineering and Mathematical logic classes before at the University of Michigan.
MATLAB

MATLAB

During my time at the University of Michigan - Ann Arbor I used MATLAB various times and tutored students in classes that relied heavily on the use of MATLAB. Part of my degree focused on control systems, which used Simulink and MATLAB as the basis for work. I have tutored various students on everything from introduction to MATLAB to Simulink and advanced MATLAB courses (Digital signal processing in MATLAB and multivariable calculus).
Solidworks

Solidworks

Starting in sophomore year of college I had educational training on how to use Solidworks to model parts and move from the modeling aspect to actually making the parts. Taking that experience, I have continued to improve skills utilizing 3D printers to create parts for various projects from printing a stabilized base for a laser tracking system to fun small projects like a 3D printed extendable sword.
