I am a fourth-year medical student at Michigan State University with a bachelor’s degree in biochemistry and more than 10 years of tutoring experience. I specialize in pre-health sciences, SAT/ACT preparation, U.S. and world history, and medical-school admissions and interview coaching.
My support continues after each lesson: students receive personalized notes, a concise session summary, and specific next steps. For recurring students, I also track progress so students and parents can see what is improving and what still needs attention.

I began tutoring in high school, later taught an SAT preparation class, and have worked in both classroom and one-on-one settings with high school, college, and pre-health students. Before meeting, I review the student’s course materials, study guide, or practice questions so the session has a clear purpose. In pre-health science, I help students connect difficult concepts instead of relying on isolated memorization. In history, I emphasize chronology, cause and effect, evidence, and clear written arguments. For SAT/ACT preparation, I teach question patterns, timing strategies, and how to analyze incorrect answers.

For prospective medical students, I provide application strategy, personal-statement and activity-description feedback, and realistic mock interviews.

My teaching is structured but adaptable: I use clear explanations, active recall, teach-back, and targeted practice to identify where understanding or reasoning breaks down. My goal is to help students improve their immediate performance while building skills and study habits they can use independently.
