I graduated from Dartmouth College in 2021 with a double major in Native American Studies and Studio Art. I then went on to complete a post-baccalaureate program at the University of Michigan to fulfill my science course requirements for medical school. I am currently in the medical school application cycle and expect to matriculate to medical school in the fall of 2024.

Outside of academics, I am passionate about my Ojibwe culture and art/music. I have been singing since I was young, but had my first public performance at age 11. I learned guitar when I was around 13 and have since picked up mandolin, piano, banjo, and ukulele. My favorite art mediums are oil painting and beadwork, but I have experience with digital art, acrylic painting, monotype print making, and watercolor painting.
I have substitute taught at an underserved Native American charter school several times and really enjoyed it. I have taught for 2nd-12th grade in math, science, and history. My first time teaching was for a few days, but my second time working was with 7-12th grade students for a month in a math classroom. I enjoyed working with kids at the whiteboard and helping them understand concepts with lots of examples and worked problems put together.
