My professional journey includes teaching Spanish and English as a Second Language both in the United States and during my immersive experiences studying and living in Spain and Lebanon. I've worked with learners ranging in age from five to fifty, proving that it's never too late to embark on the rewarding path of language acquisition.
My teaching philosophy is rooted in a genuine desire to empower students. I aim to improve their academic performance and build their confidence, equipping them with the tools they need to succeed.
On a more personal note, my passion for language and culture has taken me across the globe. During my university years, I was honored to receive a Study Abroad Presidential Award, which facilitated my studies in Spain and Lebanon. My linguistic abilities extend beyond Spanish and English, and I've had the enriching experience of traveling and living in Africa, Europe, the Middle East, and throughout Mexico. I've also explored the diverse landscapes of the United States, venturing into our beautiful national parks with my Siberian Husky. In my free time, I enjoy soccer, playing pool, pursuing new knowledge, immersing myself in the arts, and indulging in the pleasures of reading and writing.
