Spanish Extraordinaire ready to instill love for the language

¡Hola! Me llamo Nikki and I am here to help your child succeed academically and gain confidence in the subject that they need help with. They may just have FUN learning too!

For over 10 years, I tutored students middle school and high school math. I also taught ESL for 4-12 year olds for 1 year in Korea. How fun! More recently I taught all levels of high school Spanish- including IB Spanish B- for 10 years. I am currently teaching 3rd-5th grade Spanish in a K-5 daily program.

As a world traveler and live-long Spanish learner, I have been blessed to have traveled to and/or have lived/studied in: Guatemala, Mexico, Costa Rica, Spain, Cuba, Ecuador. Also have visited/lived in: Korea, Australia, China.

I have earned my degrees in the US, but most of my language learning has been in other countries. I have my master's degree in Language Learning with a concentration in Spanish.

I also love math and have always had great success taking a kids earning a D to getting a B+ or higher and having the confidence to do well without my help after a few months.

I am flexible, will make learning fun, help you/your child gain confidence and modify my lessons to meet your individual needs.
