Hi! My name is Ahmad, and I’m a Computer Science Engineering student at the University of Michigan. Arabic is my native language, and I have experience helping others improve their Arabic through conversation and practice. I started by participating in the Language Exchange program at the University of Michigan, where I had the opportunity to practice Arabic with students and help them become more comfortable speaking the language. After that experience, I began tutoring Arabic and discovered that I really enjoy helping students learn and gain confidence.
My tutoring approach is relaxed, patient, and focused on the student’s individual goals. I can help with conversational Arabic, Levantine/Jordanian Arabic, pronunciation, vocabulary, reading, writing, and grammar. I especially enjoy helping beginners who may feel nervous about speaking Arabic for the first time. I use real-life conversations and practical examples so students can learn how Arabic is naturally spoken, rather than only memorizing vocabulary and grammar rules. Whether you want to learn Arabic for school, travel, family, or personal interest, I will adjust our lessons to your level and learning style. My goal is to make Arabic enjoyable and help you feel confident using it in real conversations.
