When I first started tutoring, it was a couple of days ago and I discovered my little brother had a big Spanish test he had not adequately prepared for. The joy I experienced in helping him learn the material and tracking his progress throughout the course of our session lead me to believe I should further explore tutoring as a side gig.
In case that wasn't clear: I have exactly one tutoring experience. However, I am a well-educated recent college graduate, former NCAA lacrosse captain and hold a good position in a Fortune 500 company. I earned a concentration in Spanish in college and partook in a month-long academic immersion program in Costa Rica to cultivate my Spanish ability. I believe I have a lot to offer as a "normal" guy who happens to have the knowledge and ability to motivate kids to be passionate about life and, in particular, Spanish.
I studied the Spanish language from Kindergarten all the way through the minor I earned in college, and learned a great deal during my month in Costa Rica.
I a positive, patient motivator who is driven to deliver results. I am passionate to explore the realm of possibility I have as a Spanish tutor.
