My teaching is informed by my professional experience as a cellist in many orchestras throughout the US and Europe. Awards include 2nd place at at the European National Competition "Sv. Obretenov", 3rd Place at the International Competition "Usti na Orlitzi", and winner of the Beethoven All Strings Club competition in Tennessee, USA.
I am originally from Bulgaria and received degrees from Bulgarian National Academy of Music, Boston University, and Indiana University. My most influential teachers have included Janos Starker and Felice Farrell.
