My name is Lee. I’m a current law student at the University of Michigan and hold an MPH in epidemiology and a BS in biomedical sciences, along with a strong background in science and research. Before law school, I worked in clinical research at a major cancer center, where I helped manage data, analyze outcomes, and collaborate across medical and scientific teams. In college I was a supplemental instructor for Genetics and Chemistry teaching in either group or one-on-one sessions. I’ve tutored students of all ages, ranging from elementary to college level, in subjects like biology, chemistry, genetics, and math. I’ve also helped students strengthen their writing skills, particularly for science and public health coursework.

Currently my topics include Biology, Chemistry, Epidemiology and LSAT prep. I scored in the 97th percentile on the LSAT. My tutoring approach is flexible, but always rooted in clarity and patience. I take time to understand how each student thinks, then adjust the way I explain concepts to match their style of learning. Whether it’s breaking down complex biological processes, walking through a statistics problem, or helping organize a research paper, my goal is to make the material feel more manageable and even enjoyable.

I love teaching and take pride in helping students build confidence in subjects that once felt intimidating. Whether you’re preparing for a test, writing a paper, or just trying to keep up in class, I’d love to help you get there. Feel free to contact me with any questions or to schedule a lesson.

Biology

Biology

I have a strong background in biology through both coursework and hands-on research. I have experience tutoring students in biology at the high school and college levels. My approach emphasizes understanding core principles first, then applying them to problem-solving and test preparation. I focus on tailoring lessons to each student’s learning style so they can build both confidence and long-term retention.
Chemistry

Chemistry

I have experience tutoring chemistry at both the high school and college levels. My background includes general, organic, and biochemistry, which allows me to explain concepts across a wide range of topics. I focus on simplifying complex material and helping students build strong problem-solving skills for exams and labs.
Epidemiology

Epidemiology

I hold a Master of Public Health in Epidemiology from the Icahn School of Medicine, where I previously served as a teaching assistant/group leader for two public health courses, including Introduction to Epidemiology. I’ve worked with students on core topics like study design, bias, confounding, and data interpretation, and I enjoy breaking down complex concepts into clear, digestible steps. My graduate research, focused on LGBTQ+ policy and HIV prevention, won a top research award and was presented at the American Public Health Association (APHA) annual conference. I bring both academic and real-world experience to my tutoring, drawing from years of public health/clinical research and a strong background in mentorship and science communication.
LSAT

LSAT

I scored in the 97th percentile on the LSAT and currently attend the University of Michigan Law School. Whether you're aiming for a competitive score or trying to push past a plateau, I’m happy to help you get there.
