I love learning and I love sharing what I have learned with others. I enjoy helping people with math. I understand the struggle one goes through to try and make sense of the material. ANYONE can be a mathematician if one desires. It just takes effort and time. I can help relate mathematical language and processes to facilitate an understanding and respect for math. We all learn at a different pace, and we learn from our mistakes.

Mathematics is important in our everyday lives. Math is logic, problem solving, and critical thinking. Math has many applications, it is beautiful, and it has certainty. Einstein’s General Theory of Relativity is used in GPS navigation systems to give precise targets of location. Michelangelo used the Golden Ratio in his sculpture of David. The harmonic series is mathematical music describing sound. The Pythagorean Theorem is just as true today as it was thousands of years ago. 1+1=2 is true, and there is no debating that. Mathematics is applied everywhere, seen in all things beautiful, and its laws can provide certain outcomes.

Second session

I just took my exam today. After reviewing back to back days for about 3 hours total, I have never felt better about an exam in my life. He created a whole sheet of equations for me for this exam and went above and beyond. Super nice and relatable guy that is very easy to talk to. He also gets you very involved during the lessons. Do not be scared if you don’t know “easy” things about math. Believe me, I knew a lot more from our two lessons than I have all year.
