I have a strong academic background in the sciences and am an Ivy League–accepted medical student who has recently gone through the MCAT and medical school application process myself!
I earned my undergraduate degree from a top 20 university and completed advanced coursework in biology, chemistry, biochemistry, and physiology, which closely align with the material tested on the MCAT. Having studied for the exam firsthand, I understand how overwhelming and isolating MCAT prep can feel, especially when it’s hard to know whether you’re studying the “right” way.
I have several years of experience teaching and mentoring students in one-on-one settings, including tutoring premedical students in MCAT content and strategy and mentoring college-aged students through challenging science coursework. I have worked primarily with undergraduate and post-baccalaureate students, and I enjoy helping students who feel stuck, frustrated, or unsure how to improve. I have tutored multiple students who went on to achieve scores in the 520+ range on the MCAT, focusing on helping them become more efficient, confident, and strategic in how they study.
My tutoring style is supportive, approachable, and strategy-driven. I aim to create a comfortable environment where students feel encouraged to ask questions, think out loud, and be honest about what’s not clicking yet. Rather than memorizing everything, I focus on breaking down passages, recognizing common question patterns, and building realistic study plans that actually fit into students’ lives. Having recently been in your position, I genuinely enjoy helping students feel less overwhelmed and more confident as they work toward their MCAT goals!
