Hello! My name is Amma and I'm a first-year MD/PhD student at the University of Michigan pursuing a PhD in Neuroscience. I graduated from Yale University with a B.S. in Molecular, Cellular, and Developmental Biology and the History of Science, Medicine, and Public Health, and a certificate in Global Health Studies.
I specialize in tutoring students for college and medical school admissions exams. I provide I scored a 1580 on the SAT (790 Math, 790 Reading and Writing) and a 35 on the ACT. I also scored a 520 on the MCAT with a 132 on both CARS and P/S. As a test prep tutor with 2 years of experience, I employ a combination of test-taking strategies and foundational subject review to ensure my students are equipped to tackle even the trickiest exam questions.
I also have extensive experience advising students on their college applications and proofreading essays for undergraduate admissions on a volunteer basis. My previous students have been admitted to Yale, the University of Chicago, NYU, and other amazing schools!
