I hold a PhD in History from Michigan State University, where I specialized in migration, displacement, and nationality policy. Following my doctorate, I completed two prestigious postdoctoral fellowships at Harvard University—one at the Belfer Center for Science and International Affairs and another at the Davis Center for Russian and Eurasian Studies. My research has been published in Slavic Review, one of the top journals in my field, and I've secured over $200,000 in competitive federal funding throughout my academic career. I'm currently pursuing an MSc in International Development at King's College London.

My teaching experience spans over a decade and includes both university classrooms and one-on-one settings.
