I am a molecular biologist and passionate educator with a strong background in both teaching and research. I hold a Ph.D. in Molecular and Cellular Biology from the Medical University of South Carolina, a Master’s degree in Biochemistry, and a Bachelor’s degree in Pharmaceutical Sciences. My diverse training allows me to teach biology and chemistry from both a foundational and an applied perspective.
I have over 4.5 years of experience teaching undergraduate students in Egypt, where I prepared and delivered lectures, led laboratory sessions, and guided students through a range of topics in biology, biochemistry, and chemistry. In addition to my classroom teaching experience, I have spent several years in the U.S. mentoring students in research settings — helping them learn molecular biology techniques, understand experimental design, and develop critical thinking skills in the lab.
My teaching style is built on clarity, patience, and relevance. I focus on breaking complex concepts into simple, digestible ideas and connecting them to real-world scientific examples. I encourage students to ask questions and think critically rather than simply memorize facts, and I aim to help them build strong problem-solving skills that will serve them beyond the classroom.
Although I am just beginning to work with AP-level students, my extensive background in molecular biology, biochemistry, and chemistry enables me to confidently support high school learners as they explore advanced science topics. Whether you’re looking for help mastering key concepts, improving grades, or building a deeper understanding of how biology and chemistry work, I’m committed to helping you succeed and enjoy the learning process.
