I graduated from Emory University in 2020 with a Bachelor’s degree in Biology and a minor in Economics. During my time as an undergraduate, I tutored local high school students one-on-one in biology, chemistry, and Spanish through a volunteer mentorship program. This experience taught me how to tailor explanations to different learning styles, keep students motivated, and build confidence in challenging subjects. I’ve always enjoyed helping others grasp difficult concepts, especially in the sciences.
After college, I began working in life sciences consulting, where I collaborated with pharmaceutical and biotech companies on strategy, market access, and clinical trial planning. While working full time, I also completed a master’s degree in Data Science from Northwestern University. Most recently, I made the decision to return to medicine and pursue medical school. I studied for the MCAT over six weeks while working and earned a 515 on the official exam. I understand the pressures of balancing content review, test strategies, and limited time and I’m excited to help others find efficient, effective ways to improve their scores and reach their goals.
