I hold a Bachelor of Science in Environment and Statistics from the University of Michigan, where I focused on qualitative research methods and GIS modeling. I also studied abroad at Uppsala University in Sweden through a program in Energy Transition, Sustainability, and Leadership.
My teaching and tutoring experience includes developing curriculum with Teens for Food Justice, where I created lesson plans for New York City public schools. These lessons focused on food justice, nutrition, and using GIS mapping tools to explore urban food spaces. I've also led educational efforts in several of my research roles—designing infographics, ArcGIS StoryMaps, and interactive visuals to share findings with both academic and community audiences.
I’ve worked with students of different ages, primarily middle and high schoolers, as well as adult learners through public presentations and outreach. My experience spans one-on-one support, group settings, and digital learning environments. I take an accessible, context-driven approach to teaching, combining visual storytelling with hands-on tools to make complex topics understandable and engaging.
