Hi! My name is Madeline, and I have experience tutoring American History, U.S. Government, and English. I will be graduating from the University of Michigan this semester with a degree in Education and Social Transformation and a minor in History. This fall, I will be attending Loyola University Chicago to begin my graduate studies in School Psychology.
I know firsthand how overwhelming it can feel to struggle with a concept in a classroom full of peers. It’s easy to feel lost when everyone else seems to be moving ahead, and that’s where I can help. I have experience working with students from elementary through high school, with a strong focus on writing support in English. I have also worked with middle and high school students in American History, including AP U.S. History, as well as U.S. Government.
My goal is to help students build confidence while strengthening their understanding of the material. I focus on creating individualized strategies that match each student’s learning style so they can feel more comfortable asking questions and working through challenges. Whether you need help with homework, writing assignments, or preparing for exams, I aim to make the process supportive, clear, and effective. I look forward to meeting you and helping you reach your goals!
