Photoshop & Illustrator are now fundamental tools artist use to communicate in this increasingly visual world. Mastering the techniques and tools can set your work apart. I started using and teaching Photoshop in 1997 at the Maine Photographic Workshops; since then any creative project both personal or professional requiring art and text has involved using these tools.
I have worked with numerous artists to create their websites, signature edition fine art books and assisted in aiding their marketing efforts.
I consider tutoring a combination of focusing on mastering technique as means of mentoring the creative muse. One of life's joy is seeing what we dream become real.

Mixed-media Illustration, photo-editing and retouching and creating graphic tees have been the focus of my personal work. My qualifications began with a BFA in animation/photography & drawing and were enhanced while working and assisting in the digital labs at the Maine Workshops. The mentoring style used at the workshops is the approach I use to aid students in mastering their technique.

Tutoring sessions will focus by topic: such as "Working with Mattes" or "Using Healing Brush and Cloning Tools."
