I've been working as a tutor for the past 8 years, helping students with test prep and the college admissions process. I've helped students get into top level, Ivy-League schools, but I also pride myself on working with students with a wide range of goals! I like to remind my students that these tests are a game, and they do not reflect academic or intellectual abilities. I will be sure to tailor my tutoring style and the strategies we use to how your brain uniquely works!

I have a flexible approach to math tutoring, especially when it comes to test prep. Part of knowing how to take the math sections is knowing how to play the game and what "traps" to avoid. Whether you're a math whiz or math is not your strong suit, I strive to find ways to help you achieve your goals!

The science section is one of the most strategy based sections on the whole test! If we work together, I have a variety of tools I can show you to take on this, at times confusing, but ultimately fairly straightforward section.

English and Reading are my favorite sections to teach! I find that schools have not thoroughly or directly taught grammar in recent years, so there's a lot of room for growth on the English section, in particular. On the reading, I have a number of different strategies in my toolbox, and we will tailor this section to your unique way of processing.

If we work together, you can expect a flexible, straightforward approach to test taking. I will always be open to adjusting the strategy depending on your needs. I love seeing my students both reach but often exceed their goals!
